Course Equipment
This course will involve learning how to fly cast. If you have access to equipment please bring it. If you do not have access to a fly rod, reel and line we can provide you with an outfit to borrow for the course. However, there is a limited supply of equipment to borrow and students may have to share equipment if they do not bring their own rod and reel.

Do you have some equipment, rods, reels or tying materials that you would like to turn into cash, or better yet…new fly fishing gear? Well here is your opportunity to shop your wares in a place full of fly anglers! The Used Equipment sale at Grand Opportunities is where you can bring our old equipment and Friends of the
Grand River volunteers will sell it for you. You must register your gear and provide an asking price and when the goods sell you get 80% of the amount that FOGR receives for the gear. The 20% “commission” goes towards worthy projects that improve the Grand River and its fishery. Everyone wins! Fill out the Used Equipment Sale form.
