Fall 2003 - Swan Creek Tree Plant Report

FOGR Treasurer Terry Ryckman and other volunteers returned to the scene of the Spring 2003 Tree Plant on Swan Creek, to install anti-mouse tree guards and to check on the health of the trees. Terry reports outstanding success, with about 95 percent of trees having taken well and established themselves over the summer of 2003. A few hardwoods have already been attacked by mice, but the new tree guards should limit future nibbling damage. If most of these trees survive as well in the future, the landscape of Swan Creek should look completely different in 20 years!

Board meetings are held the last Thursday of every month.
